2. General Amos Halftrack or George S. Patton.... If I had to make a choice Patton. Without him, the Japs would have been in Sydney before we finished off the Nazis. Watch both George Patton movies and you'll see why he was such a great warrior. He understood that the longer you sit in your trench, the more men you lose with the added bonus of having gained nothing. Hit 'em hard, keep hittin' 'em, don't let them dig one ounce of earth to dig-in. Yes, those two movies were made to aggrandize Patton, but they are historically accurate. His aggrandizement was deserved.
