My dearest Al,
Thank you for your flattering words in comparing me to Peggy. You are a rascal, and certainly keenly perceptive. However, I regretfully and respectfully and heartily and passionately and yet cordially must gird my loins in restating this, my assertion, with gusto: Peggy was hotie, Helen was notie.
Surely the married men who visit this venue of TAGSification can tell you there is nothing nary as scary as a woman with a jealous nature and an inclination to vent anger irrationally, publicly, and with vehemenence. Of this we have several examples as it pertains to Helen. It eventually drove Andy to develop more and more of a submissive approach in their relationship, not to mention many poor clothing choices.
Peggy, on the other hand, possessed all of the same qualities you have attributed to Helen in addition to those I had previously called attention to. While either fine lady could have been an excellent step mother to Opie, I suspect he might still have hair if it had been Peggy.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
