I got my first Trachycarpus several years ago as one gallon sized plants. The friend I got them from said that he had seeds from 2 different sources one from Canada, I believe from Joe, and the other from Anniston, AL from Hayes Jackson. The one from the Anniston source looked a little different and it actually died this summer. The 2 I had from the Canadian source are outstanding and lush. One is over 6 feet tall now. I wonder if there is any genetic difference.
