All looks great, Jay! I like to landscape in the winter as well because it's so much cooler and easier to work in the weather. I design my new beds in the winter, remove the sod, and amend the soil. Then, when spring arrives, all I have to do is plant and add mulch! May I suggest that you get Raja Puri. It's a great banana with thick leaves and a very thick pseudostem. Plus, it will produce some very tasty fruit in your climate. Thanks for posting!
