Thanks for all the info Austin! I'm kind of worried that they got to big this year and if I cut them back to five feet they might die anyway because the flower is above the cut? What do you think about this? The biggest trunks are about 8'6". I'm still going to protect them that high anyways, my newest idea is mini lights around the trunks with salt marsh hay and leaves up close to the trunks then the leaf bags for cold protection kept dry with a tarp. Where there's a will there's a way I guess. I also bought a 72 pack for agristarts that are not big enough to plan that I need to store inside too. There in 3 gallons now so I guess I'll store them in the basement too with minimal water as well. I also have a third floor unheated closet that is 100% dark but the temp is probably 50-60 degrees do you think that is to warm to store bananas?
