This growing season has been a great one for the Mid-South. Regular rainfall and hot temperatures created the perfect combination for excellent growth of palms and bananas. With over 2 feet above normal rainfall for the year, all the plants have been very happy. Here are some highlights of my palms.
Yes, I shaved the trunk. 
It looks more tropical now.
