: --Previous Message--GOOD JUMPING BUST BIG
: Ryan Capes has been at Toe's MX Park in
: Washington gappin' gargantuan again. He's up
: there with the Monster Energy people (a
: great bunch of folks). Today the wind was
: blowing and Ryan is facing some issues in
: working toward 400 feet, so he was only able
: to break off a couple of jumps.
:
: He said the first jump was a 280 foot ramp
: gap with a total jump distance of 321 feet.
:
: The 2nd jump was a 300 foot ramp gap with a
: reported 352'8" of total jump distance.
:
: Tomorrow Capes will stretch the ramp gap to
: 320 and go from there.
:
: If you're anywhere near there, you would be
: a blithering poltroon to miss it. Quit your
: job, hitchhike from the east coast, tell
: your significant lover you're outta here and
: you'll be back in a few days, I don't care
: what the consequences are.
:
: When guys like these guys jump farther than
: a football field, it's a spectacle to
: behold. Your story of the jump will lay
: waste to other stories you might have told
: about your sweetheart, or your lousy job, or
: the stories about how you stayed in your
: comfort zone instead of living life a little
: bit.
:
: Better yet, how about if you (yes you, the
: one reading this) just go out and jump
: something? Anything! A reporter doing a
: story on a jump - with no riding experience
: - got on a motorcycle and hit a little bump
: and jumped a few toys, came up short and
: almost got bucked over the bars, went into a
: tank-slapper and got the scare of his life.
: His apogee was about a foot off the ground,
: but that was the biggest air he ever copped.
: Now get out there and jump something!
: Whaddaya mean, "NO"? Okay then, go
: watch Capes jump tomorrow. If you pull an
: all-nighter, YOU KNOW you can make it! WIMP!
: Sleep in your truck. LIVE A LITTLE!
