To say that RK has no skill, is ridiculous. Like him or hate him, he is still one of the most talented jumpers we have. You really cannot compare Robbie's type of jumping to "ramp to dirt ramp" jumping, neither are bad and both are cool. It's just a different animal, with a totally different landing setup, which obviously makes a huge difference. You may not like his particular style of ramp to ramp jumping, you may not like his ski ramp, but he is consistently making long jumps, successfully (at 46yrs old). He is no doubt a very talented motorcycle stunt performer.
As far as the ski ramp, I think it's a great idea. It takes a lot of construction to build one of those. Have you ever stood at the top of his ski ramp and looked down? It's something like 3 stories tall and pretty steep. He gains some 20+ mph with it. (Not for nothin', but I used one for three years - twice a day & 6 times on the weekends). Ski ramps are more gnarley than you might think. My opinion.
I like Robbie. He's not perfect, he has his own issues to deal with personally, as do we all. Sometimes it's harder to take the high road. If you have been wronged: Falstaff said: "Discretion is the better part of valor." Pray for him & for me too.
