It was interesting that the top 3 lap times of the day were on Lites bikes (250cc four strokes). Villopoto's best time was 2:07.997, Dungey was 2:08.145, Grant was 2:10.321 and the next best time to them was 450 rider Stewart, whose best time was 2:11.140.
This means that if Villopoto had been in Stewart's class on his 250, he would have beaten Stewart in a 20 lap race by over a minute!
