Ramp gap keeps on taking a back seat to total jump distance for some reason, when RAMP GAP is the obstacle the ramp to ramp jumper has to face.
As GW says, ramp gap is like the high bar in a high jump. You have to clear the bar to make it.
We should show respect to the RAMP GAP KING. The ramp gap king is THE MAN. All jumpers know that the larger the ramp gap, the greater the task, and RAMP GAP is the true measure of how far a guy really jumps. Overjumping the ramp gap is not wise or necessary, unless total jump distance is the only goal. However, ramp gap is a lot more important to me than total jump distance.
The king of ramp gap right now is Ryan Capes at 341 feet.
In second place is Robbie Maddison, at 340 feet.
They are so far ahead of everybody else in ramp gap that it isn't even funny.
