Hey everybody,
This message is to reach out with good intentions to bring about peace. I think it's about time we all try to get along. I'll try to chill on the political stuff, and hopefully we can all lose the negativity as much as possible.
It's not doing any of us any favors to go on these rants, and I'm as guilty as anybody else. I apologize for my part in it. This is not a political board, and we can all do positive things that reflect well on jumping if we suck up our pride and try to remain tactful and diplomatic, which is sometimes hard to do.
We can express ourselves with carefully chosen words and avoid escalating things. It would be great if we could all say what we want to say, yet do it in a way that doesn't create deep divisions among ourselves. We all love jumping, and I can't imagine being without each and every jumper who ever hit a ramp. Each of us has a unique contribution to the sport, and jumping has so many flavors and aspects, there's room for everybody.
Let's try to be nice to each other. We'll all have to try, some of us will have to try harder than others, because it's in our nature to fight for what we believe in. Hopefully we can feel free to say what needs to be said, and even lend a helping hand every once in a while with some good information or advice, and if we all have good intentions, everything will work out for the best.
