Tyrone Gilks, 14 years of age, took a Yamaha YZ85 (85cc) motorcycle and smashed some world records in Australia today.
The most important measurement, ramp gap, was 160 feet. This is very impressive. Ramp gap is king.
The second most important measurement, total jump distance, was 178 feet, 5 inches. Nice job, landing in the sweet spot while keeping a big ramp gap.
It's easy to keep a small ramp gap and jump waaaaaay down the landing ramp, but Gilks is one to "man up" and do it right.
Clear gap was 135 feet.
