This video shows the ramp gap better, and shows that he has developed his skills so that he's making corrections as smooth as glass. Very smooth. That looks better than any herky-jerky corrections. Smoothness is the sign of a true professional distance jumper who has refined his game. Good work, Ryan!

: It's a new set of impressive world records
: for
: Ryan Capes. After changing the gearing for
: the 2nd jump and stretching the ramp gap to
: 260 feet, at about 7:09 PM Pacific Time, he
: jumped 316 feet - and is the first, and
: only, rider to ever surpass the 300 foot
: mark in the ramp to ramp category. A
: stunning achievement! Congratulations,
: Capes! I'm certain that he also earned the
: clear gap world record as well, so that's a
: total of 6 world records in about 30
: minutes!

: His ramp gap on that 287 foot jump was 240
: feet, a new world record as well.
:
: Now he's stretched the ramp gap to 260, and
: he's going again, but now it's getting dark.

: Today is another landmark day in jumping.
: Ryan
: Capes is in Reno, and today he will attempt
: to break Jason Rennie's world record in the
: ramp to ramp category. The ramps look sick.
: Don't let the visual mess with your mind,
: Ryan, you know what you can do. Trust the
: setup. Good luck!
