Before you go to the site to read the story and watch the video, guess how he gets the speed up to hit the ramp.
Is he getting towed in by a motorcycle? No.
Is he getting towed in by a bicycle? No.
Is he coming down some kind of a hill? No.
Ski jump ramp? No.
Think about it. Then go to the following site, read the story, then watch the video.
Aaron Fotheringham proves to all of us that our only limitation is in our imagination.
Aaron Fotheringham Double Back in a Wheelchair
About 17 years ago, I bought a wheelchair and learned to wheelie it because I was inspired by a guy at my high school when I lived in the Philippines. He would wheelie his wheelchair and I thought it was so cool. He would come to the motocross races sometimes and we would talk. I learned to hold a stationary wheelie as long as I wanted, sometimes sitting in a wheelie and watching a 30 minute TV show. I went down a short flight of steps in my wheelchair and thought that was about as aggressive as I wanted to go. Aaron Fotheringham shut me down. He is the man. All bow to Aaron Fotheringham.
