Basically the kart rules are the same for 2008 as 2007 as 2007 was a good year for Karts at the Mottville Speedway!
RULES: We will attempt to group karts into 4 basic groups-4 cycle, 2 cycle, shifter and kids(yard) karts(5-9 years old only). But min of 3 karts per class to run separately. Otherwise may run together . Kids(yard) karts run for trophy only. Other divisions for very minimal –basically “token” payment. All drivers must have made for racing helmet and at least long sleeved shirt but full driving suit is strongly recommended! Visable number required for scoring. No radios. 100 decibel max rule. No consumption of alcoholic beverages by any driver or crew member on track property at any time. No refunds for any reason at any time! Pay-offs held for one week only and paid on a race night only-never mailed! Driver must have signed “release and wavier of liability and indemnity agreement” to be paid and anyone under age of 18 entering the pits must have on file a “MINOR RELEASE AND WAVIER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT” signed by a parent or legal guardian of the minor which releases the track from all liability for any and all injuries to the minor. No minor may enter pit area unless with a responsible adult.
PAY-OFF; When we have 10 or Karts our intent is to pay the A feature winner $40, the B feature winner $20, 2nd in B $10 and the balance who run both features $5.
When we have 14 or more Karts we intend to pay the winner of the A feature $50, the B feature winner $30 with 2nd receiving $20, 3rd $25, 4th $10 and the balance who run both features $5.
MMAY 26, JUNE 29, JULY 6 AND SPETEMBER 1 KARTS WILL PAY $100 TO WIN THE A FEATURE!
