For 2008 the rules for MTC are basically the same as 2007:
MINI THUNDER CAR DIVISION: 4 or 6 cylinder front wheel drive only! 6 cyl must be automatic transmission. No rotary engines. Max 60 series DOT radial tires with max diameter of 16”-no recaps! Max 6” stock rim-no offset rims! Ok to camber & caster rt. Ft. wheel. No locked rear ends. Optional to move battery to inside of car if secured tightly. Reasonable protection for radiator ok. Any other added bracing must be for safety only. Suspension must be factory stock and in stock location. Stock radiator in stock location. Dash must remain in stock location. FUN CLASS! VERY MINIMAL PAY-OFF!
The following is what we intend to pay:
With 10 more cars the A feature winner will receive $50, the B feature winner $25, 2nd $15, 3rd $10 and the balance of the field who run both features $5.
With 14 or more cars the A feature winner will receive $60 the B feature winner $30, 2nd $25, 3rd $20, 4th $15, 5th $10 and the balance who run both features $5.
