SATURDAY, APRIL 26-The final race at the Mottville Speedway on SAturday afternoon was also the most exciting!
In the 12 lap Kart B feature Justin and Bill Stump traded the lead back and forth for 11 laps with Larry Robinson and Tim Lafler gaining on the leaders each lap.
On the final lap coming out of turn 4 Robinson and Lafler caught up with the Stumps and then it got wild!
When the smoke cleared Bill Stump had won by mere inches with Robinson 2nd by inches and Justin Stump 3rd by inches over Lafler!
Everyone was buzzing about this finish!
In the Kart A it was Mike Zehr coming to Mottville for the first time in 2008 taking the win over Justin Stump, Marshall Pebler, Lafler, Bill Stump, Robinson, Jscob Hamilton and Zachary Winger.
Steven Ray won the 2 cycle feature.
The dash went to Marshall Pebler and heat wins went to Ray, Zehr, Lafler.
Lafler took over the season points lead from Marshall Pebler. Charles Pomeroy was reported to have found major problems with his Kart engine and did not run for the 2nd week in a row.
Meanwhile in the Mini Thunder Cars it was all Arthur Brazee as he won the feature, dash and heat! James Brook was 2nd in each event and Jesse Hankins 3rd.
A remeinder starting May 3 gates open at 4pm and racing starts at 5pm!
