2013 MOTTVILLE SPEEDWAY MINI STOCK RULES BODY A. Must be a subcompact, 4, cylinder model. (No Firebirds, Camaro, Fairmont) 6 cyl must have automatic. Station wagons, and pickups are allowed. No convertibles or 4 wheel drives. B. Adjustable trailing arms ok.Racing shocks ok. Screw jacks allowed.Racing clutch ok. C. Body must be sheet metal or aluminum and stock appearing. . Pickups must enclose bed. Stock appearing aftermarket noses are allowed. Late model appearing bodies ok if rear end enclosed and they otherwise meet rules. Fiberglass hood OK, no holes. D. Doors must be welded or bolted shut. E. Except windshield, remove all glass. F. Safety constructed 4 post cage with minimum of three bars on drivers side and one bar on passenger side. G. Must have firewall between driver and engine, and driver and fuel tank. H. Fenders may be trimmed for tire clearance only. I. No holes in hood for air cleaner. J. Hood and trunk must be pinned. No bolting down. K. stock type A-arms, struts, and ball joints only. L. Cars must remain original track width as manufactured. M. aftermarket brake pedal assemblies allowed. N. No coil-over type adjusters. Max 6¡¨ spoiler. O. No quick change type or trick automatic transmissions or rear ends. 9 inch Ford rear end with 4 link ok. ENGINE A. Engine must be 4 or 6 cylinder, carburetor fed in stock location. B. Single carburetors only, not to exceed 2 barrels. Maximum 1¡¨ spacer including gaskets. Holley 4412 Carburetor will be allowed. No reworking, grinding, or altering carburetor in any way. C. Heads must not be after market. After market intake ok. D. Fuel injection allowed on front wheel drive cars only. E. Exhaust must be single and completely sealed and must go past doors. Headers will be allowed. F. Aftermarket Ignition system allowed.. Aftermarket cap and wires allowed.1 gal radiator overflow can required. J. Fuel cells are strongly recommended. Fuel tank must be safely secure with 4 steel straps. If moving fuel tank into hatchback area or pickup bed must have firewall between driver. Fuel cells must be enclosed in steel can. K. Steel lines or braided hose must be used as fuel line from fuel tank to carburetor. .No fuel line in cockpit area. TIRES AND WHEELS-Any 65,70,75 or 80 Series, 195 or smaller D.O.T. Radial tire. Any 75 Series, 215 or smaller D.O.T. Radial tire. NO Recaps, Hoosier, McCreary, or aftermarket ¡§made for racing¡¨ tires, even if D.O.T.approved, are allowed.„FƒnNO tire soaking or ¡§compound enhancers¡¨ allowed.„FƒnSteel wheels only.
