2013 MOTTVILLE SPEEDWAY SPORTSMEN RULES Body Minimum wheelbase: 102” . Maximum track width: 82” (by use of toe board anywhere on wheels) . Maximum spoiler height: 7”. . Maximum spoiler width: 60” ABC template style and contour. . Body, nosepiece and rear bumper cover should be ABC appearing; ABC style fiberglass, steel, aluminum or plastic template style. No alterations. . Full front and rear window, must be Lexan, no glass, template pieces. Chassis . Frames will be as follows: Full Stock, stock front w/ tube rear, full tube with stock lowers, full tube with strut lowers. Factory front cross member may be modified to allow for 4” engine set back. Drive shaft hoop required. . No alcohol or nitrous oxide. No pressure system. Steel or braided lines. . Battery must be securely mounted, enclosed and above frame rails in front of rear end. . Each wheel to have properly working brake. Steel or aluminum. In-car brake bias device OK. No shut off devises on brake system anywhere! . Stock OEM steering box or rack OK. Tubular steering shaft with a minimum of 2 universal joints OK. Aftermarket center link OK. Aftermarket tie rods and heims OK.Screw Jacks ok. . No adjustment of chassis from driver’s compartment, other than brake bias. . Coil overs and eliminators permitted/ . Aftermarket tubular sway bar and upper control arms OK. Spline style sway bar OK. Rear suspension may be 3 or 4 link. . Shocks; No canisters. No external adjustment screws on shocks. Engine Drive Train . Cast iron block. Stock cast iron or aluminum heads. Pro or dart type OK. . Wet oil system only. Intake – cast iron or aluminum OK . One carburetor. 2 or 4 barrel OK.No electric fuel pumps. . Exhaust manifolds: cast iron or headers OK-center dumps OK. . Must have working starter. 100 DB muffler is mandatory Exhaust must exit from rear of car! . Stock type or Ford 9” OK. No cambered rear ends. 3 or 4 link OK. Heims OK. Quick change OK. . Factory or racing clutch will be allowed, however No traction control type clutch of any kind. . Radiator mounted in stock location with overflow can and overflow tube to lower right corner of windshield - 2" minimum in length on window. . No anti-freeze, water only. . No electric or hydraulic traction control devices allowed. Tires/Wheels-Tires-Hoosier 970,790,800,880. All wheels are to be steel safety 8” type. 1" lug nuts mandatory!
