Austin Harrison won the 12 lap B feature over CJ French, Dinah Jean, Nick Williams, Scott Gates and Ryan Croker.
PAYNE won the dash over Slaughter and Garrett.
Holtzlander won the first heat over Steury and Williams.
Slaughter won the 2nd heat over Payne and Sweeter.
Collin Bozell was unable to run a feature.
Hornet season points champion Robert Sutton won his 12the feature in 20 tries!
Mike Currier was a close 2nd followed by Jordan Siegel, Zach Slaton, Mike Dexter, Chase Willard, Eric Maypens, Austin Miotto, James Bacon, Leonard Davis and Michael Vanpelt.
Slaton won the dash over Mayens and Currier.
Davis won the first heat over Miotto and Dexter.
Slaton won the 2nd heat over Currier and Vanpelt.
Leonard Davis was unable to run the feature.

The coldest night of the season saw 46 cars at the historic Mottville Speedway!

Because of the season high car count in OLFWD we ran our first C feature of the season and most likely our only C feature of the season!
BROCK SWEETER clinched the OLFWD season points championship by winning his 4th feature of the season!
Danny Payne, 2nd in the points, was 2nd followed by Jason Harman Ed Clawson, Wes Allen, Zach Denton, Fred Garrett, Tyler Diamond, Marc Gross,and Dinah Jean.
Derek Simon won the B feature in a close one over Nick Williams, Sheldon Landig, Brent Denton, Bruce Foulk, Ryan Zimmerman and Ryan Drumwiller.
Austin Harrison won the C feature over Travis Chatchiex, Jerry Drumwiller, and Warren Bannard.
Unable to run a feature were Tyler Reading, Dillon Rose, CJ French,Jesse Vanavery Jr. Bobby Bloom, Spencer Wortinger and Randy Deballike.
Sweeter won the dash over Pyane and Reading.
Harmon won the first heat over Jesse VanAvery Jr, and Ryan Drumwiller.

CLEAN SWEEP FOR MICHIGAN!!
All m3 feature winners were from Michigan" BROCK SWEETER (OLFWD A) ADAM BRADFORD (HORNETS) AND BRANDON TICHELAAR (OLFWD B).\
Dinah Jean led the most laps in the OLFWD A but Sweeter got by and Jean settled for 2nd.
Ed Clawson took 3rd followed by Fred Garrett, Joe Carlin, Danny Payne, Tyler Stuery and Duane Green.
In the B it was Derek Simon 2nd followed by James Cantrell, Kory Oliver, Joe Donelson, Austin White, Tony Rice and Kenny Wright.
Zach Williams was unable to run the feature.
Sweeter won the dash over Carlin and Payne.
Clawson won the first heat over Jean and Green.
Payne won the 2nd heat over Carlin and Sweeter.
For Bradford it was his first feature win of the season!

DANNY PAYNE ran awa with the OLFWD 20 lap feature Saturday night at the historic Mottville Speedway!
It was the 5th feature win of the season for Payne who lapped much of the field and was 3/4 lap ahead of 2nd place at the finish!
Season points leader Brock Sweeter just crossed the line ahead of Joe Carlin for 2nd!
Fred Garrett, first time at Mottville this season, was 4th followed by Zach Williams, Tyler Diamond and Ryan Crocker.
Austin Miotto was unable to run the feature.
Sweeter won the dash over Payne and Carlin.
Garrett won the heat over Payne and Carlin.
ROBERT SUTTON won his 11th Hornet feature of the season in a 20 lapper over Tyler Miller (1st time at Mottville!),Zach Slaton, Kimmie Grubb (1st time at Mottville this season) Eric Maypens, Ricky Trent, Kevin Grubb Sr, Kevin Grubb Jr and Michael Vanpelt.
Leonard Diamond was unable to run the feature.

Scott Gary, driving a beautiful #35 car, won the first SS B feature of the season in a 12 lapper over Curtis Towne, Jack Pontius and Dominic Harker.
Tim Sanderson and Mike Rozner were unable to run a feature.
Gallant won the first heat over Slaton and Vanavery.
Ganus won the 2nd heat over Royback and Ritter.

Brock Sweeter just managed to beat Danny Payne across the start finish line, by mere inches, to win the 20 lap Outlaw Front Wheel Drive feature at the historic Mottville Speedway Saturday!
Dave Leonard Jr was 3rd followed by a much improved Zach Denton, Apryl Patterson, Tyler Perry, William Porter, Tom Nimmo and Tyler Reading.
Payne won the heat over Reading and Sweeter.
Hornet season points leader Robert Sutton had a new frot bumper painted purple in memory of Vic Krontz and he won his 6th feature of the season in a 20 lapper over Adam Bradford, Zach Slaton, Sweeter, Leonard Diamond, Ivan Trent, Terry Kline, Allen Burge, Michael Vanpelt, Chet Terry, Seth Smith and Ed Martz.
Sutton won the first heat over Martz and Trent.

Jerry Pierman II led only 1 lap in the 20 lap Street Stock feature but it was the most important final lap and he fially overtook Dave Leonard Jr for his 2nd feature win of the season!

When Sutton attempted to pass a car on the inside the driver drove him into the infield and Sutton had a flat tire.
Because the caution was not caused by Sutton he was allowed to resume his spot on the restart with a new tire.
Sweeter was 2nd followed by Zach Slaton, Tery KLine, Leonard Diamond, Tony Aviles, Michael Vanpelt, Jason Luley, Kurt Grubb and Eric Nepyans.

First Hornets driven by Kurt Grubb and Ivan Trent came together hard coming out of turn 2! Trent was done for the night but Grubb made repairs for the feature!
Outlaw Front Wheel Drive driver Doug Adams came to Mottville for the first time and came out turn 2 too fast and hit the tire barrier hard and the car then rolled on the back stretch!
It was a wild ride!
But Doug was ok!
Jerry Pierman, Jr came to Mottville for the first time and was most impressive in winning the 20 lap SS feature in his beautiful #42 car!
Brad Smith was 2nd followed by Tristan Crago, Jesse Vanavery, Jr., Derek Sturdivent, Adam Vanavery(driving for Dave Leonard, Jr after his own car suffered mechanical woes), Brian Slaton, Lee Slaton, Chuck Caudill, Tim Sanderson, Zane Bierman, Jeremy Wallen, Chad Sanderson and Brock Ganus.
Sturdivent won the first heat over Caudill and Lee Slaton.
Pierman won the 2nd heat over Tim Sanderson and Chad Sanderson.
Dave Leonard, Jr won the 20 lap OLFWD A feature over Dale Leonard, Joe Jacobs, Dave Leonard, Brock Sweeter, Ed Clawson, John Fetter, Chaz Wedge, Jeremy Pierman II, and Tyler Diamond,
In the first B feature of the season, a 12 lapper, Zach Denton took the win over Ryan Diamond, Dion Hosner, Bruce Foulk, Joe Carlin, Todd Westendorf, Ira Hosner,Doug Adams and Jesse Hard III.
Dave Leonard Jr won the first heat over Tyler Reading and John Fetter.
Tyler Diamond won the 2nd heat over Joe Jacobs and Sweeter.
Zach Slaton won his first Hornet feature of the season in a 15 lap win over season points leader Rob Sutton, Chet Terry, Brock Sweeter, Terry Kline, Leonard Diamond, Kurt Grubb and Michael VanPelt.
Sutton won the heat over Slaton and Kline.

Three brand new feature winmners featured racing action at the historic Mottville Speeedway and another hot and humid Saturday!
9 Street Stocks, 13 Outlaw Front Wheel Drives and 10 Hornets were on hand!
Tyler Huffer won the $400 to win Street Stock feature in 20 laps over Chad Sanderson, Jesse Vanavery, Jr., Brian Slaton, Tim Sanderson, Shaun Misak, Derek Sturdivant.
Adam Vanavery and Dominic Harker were unable to run the feature.
Sturdivent won the first heat over Jesse VanAvery, Jr and Slaton.
Huffer won the 2nd heat over Misak and Adam Vanavery.
Tyler Reading won the 25 lap OLFWD feature over Danny Payne, Chad Gray, April Patterson, Brock Sweeter, Tyler Diamond, Petric Raoaza, Jesse Hard III, William Porter, Ryan HUfford, and Ryan Diamond.
The race was a 3 car battle between Reading, Payne and Gray all the way!
Wes Allen and Austin Harrison were unable to run the feature.
HUfford won the first heat over Payne and Gray.
Reading won the 2nd heat over Ryan Diamond and Patterson.
Kurt Grubb won the 20 lap Hornet feature over Chet Terry, Brock Sweeter, Terry Kline, Leonard Diamond, Josh Nyberg, Michael Vanpelt, Zach Slaton, Robert Sutton and Patrick Hare.
Grubb won the first heat over Sweeter and Terry.
Zach Slaton won the 2nd heat over Nyberg and Kline.

The historic Mottville Speedway opened Saturday with yet another new challange in a season of challenges!
Weather we qualify as a "crowded out door area" or not we do not know so we had to ask people to observe the Governor;s decree of face masks unless eating or drinking or having a medical condition.
PLus 90 degree weather and high humidity!
A huge thank-you to Glenna and Eric Root for all their mowing this week!
Now on to the results!
Chet Terry scored the upset of the night by winning the 15 lap Hornet feature over Rob Sutton (who had won the previous 4!) with Sutton 2nd followed by Patrick Hare.
Terry won the heat over Sutton and Hare.
Michael Vanpelt was unable to run the feature!
2019 Mottville Speedway Street Stock Track Champion Doug Gallandt returned to Mottville for the first time in 2020 and won the 20 lap Street Stock feature driving the beautiful 88 car!
Jesse VanAvery was 2nd followed by Chad Sanderson, Dominic Harker and Trenton Vogts.
Timn Sanderson was unable to start the feature.
Gallandt won the heat over Chad Sanderson and Tim Sanderson.
Brock Sweeter won the Outlaw Front Wheel Drive 15 lap feature over Zach Denton, Ryan Diamond and Zach Slaton.
Sweeter won the heat over Diamond and Zach Denton.
Slaton won the consi heat over Diamond and Zach Denton.
Brent Deton was unable to run the feature.

Rob Sutton made it 4 feature wins in 4 tries he won the 20 lp Hornet feature over Shne Bardyht, Curt Terry, Terry Kline, Ricky Trent and Juliet Sweeter!
Fro Sweeter it was her first time on track in over 2 years!
Jim Snyder was unable to run the feature due to overheating problems.
Sutton won the heat over Terry and Bardyht.
Terry won the consi heat over Kline and Trent.
Chad Sanderson won the 15 lap Street Stock feature over Brian Slaton.
Tim Sanderson was unable to run the feature.
Results were the same in the heat.
The Outlaw FWD made their debut with Chad Gray racing to the victory over Brock Sweeter and Zach Slaton.
After Gray took the checkered flag the engine blew and he had to b pushed to the front stretch to have his picture taken!

All of us at the historic Mottville Speedway are keeping our pit stewart-Jack Huford-in our prayers following the death of his wife Jody Friday!
Jody was a huge fan of the historic Mottville Speedway and did a great deal for the track!
She will be missed but she is no longer fighting the dreaded MS disease!

Brian Slaton, drivig for the first time since 1997, was 2nd!
Sturdivant also won the heat over Slaton.
William Porter won the 20 lap Compact feature over Nathan Kiser .
Results were the same in the heatand in the consi heat and Porter took over the point standings lead!

Opening night for the 2020 racing season finally arrvived at the historic Mottville Speedway!
It was picture perfect and 72 degrees!
Robert Sutton won the Hornet feature over Antonio Aviles, Terry Kline and Kurt Grubb.
Sutton also won the heat while Aviles won the consi heat.
Marcus Carlson won the Compact feature over Bobby Laughter and also won the heat.
Ronnie York won the Street Stock heat and feature.
