Hey guys, with all the emails flying around about playing too much/not enough, too far totravel, etc. I just wanted to say that I think EVERYBODY on both times is highly compettive and has enormous pride in wanting tobe able to play well.
With that in mind, I want to apologize for an absolutely horrible display of outfield play by me in RF yesterday. It was as though I was allergic to the ball. It was as though I was running in quicksand going to the ball. I have no excuse for such an unaceptable level of play.
Next game I play I will make sure I turn my brain on so it can coordinate all body parts and senses in a cohesive way. See the ball, run to the ball as fast as posible, keep my eyes on the ball, reach out with my hands, watch the ball go into my hands, squeeze my hands around the ball, it's a catch!
