Ok here is my take. No one has to listen to this or even agree but here it goes. Zanesville is a great town with alot of unknown talent to people outside of zanesville. The reason for this is that over the years zanesville softball has become a joke. Tell me all the places that you know that has competative ASA softball anymore? Everything is turning to WSL, NSA, and USSSA. WHy can Zanesville not hold some bigger tourneys and impliment other sanctions. No one can win anything outside of zanesville because we don't have any practice with USSSA or NSA. Zanesville has nice fields and plenty of room. Why not put together something with a birth or a large money prize package. Teasm will come from marietta, parkersburg, columbus, cleveland, cincinatti. Its boring to have to play the same teams adn same people every year in every tournament. And the winner thinks they are champions of the world. Someone please bring back zanesville competative softball.
