Please explain how CCTV would stop people riding bikes on pavements? Surely it would just film them - that's not the same as stopping! And isn't spending £150,000+ on cameras somewhat overkill to stop people cycling on pavements? What is needed is proper cycle lanes. Cowley Road is awful for cyclists.
