Why are the shop keepers in Black Bird Leys so desperate to have CCTV installed when it has been proven that CCTV does not work? Why don't they just fit security grilles on the fronts of their shops instead? If crime is such a problem near the shops on Black Bird Leys why are the Police not flooding the estate with proper cop patrols?.
