No CCTV's story on ANPR should be read in conjunction with the items on ANPR to be found on The Register website.
There is a good CCTV story on Neil Herron Blogspot.com entitled CCTV switch off sparks crime fears, the story is taken from the Camden New Journal, article by Jamie Welham, 10 July 2009, West End Extra. Seems that the Pixel resolution quality of the CCTV cameras in question have been found wanting and not up to the legal standard required.
