I am very concerned with the comments of the Police guy who was quoted saying 'And when the need arises everyone else', under what circumstances and under what laws would it be permissable to use CCTV to spy on what he calls everyone else. Or those he calls the ordinary folk that he claims not to spy on ordinarily, and why foreigners and why anyone who, as he puts it, who looks like foreigners? this sounds suspiciously like the practise of racial profiling to me. And then he says Could and Might be Criminals as well just for good measure.
