At last a web platform to debate this contentious
issue with other people who do question the real
intention behind these camera's.It seems obvious
that the government is utilising the soaring crime
and anti social behaviour,that is a sad result of
our increasingly fragmented society as an excuse
to install these cameras. As with the post office
closures,privatisation,et al;they always come up
with some kind of smoke screen to hide their real
agenda,which is in this instance,primarily about
snooping and surveillance.They know very well that
criminals aren't going to pose in front of these
cameras,anyway. (It's called 'casing the joint'!)
