No-one, not even I have said that CCTV is all that is required. Of course you need to use a combination of security devices, but CCTV is a means to help catch these people. Alarms. locks and grilles do not aid the police in their investigations.
If someone wants to commit crime, albeit in a dark alley or broad daylight, they will. TV helps to identify people and I have had enough experience in the industry to see it work efficiently.
