historic site trying to find early threshing machine

Hello -

I manage an 1865 living history farm/stagecoach stop at Olathe, Kansas.

We are trying to find an early threshing machine - a "barn" type machine. Small, hand-fed, run by a horse treadmill - it appears you have one operating at the LeSeur show. I have a late 1860s Champion reaper already lined up.

Any ideas? I am going to the Waverly show - we have a team of mares we are selling and I plan to check out the implements. I want to find a mid-19th century check row corn planter and was told equipment that early does show up at Waverly.

Any suggestions on where to look or who to talk to would be appreciated.
