Posted by Old Dominion Speedway on September 18, 2007, 1:08 am "I had a pretty bad start tonight but we were able to come back," said Hall, who moved into second in points with Dustin Storm's absence. "It's unfortunate what happened with Bruce and Doug. But it worked out for us." Jason Shultz snagged second. Shultz started 12th and battled his way up to sixth after Franklin Butler and Willard Lawrence got together in lap 155. Shultz took over second from Michael Hardin in lap 198. "All of a sudden things just started going my way," Shultz said. "Things were clicking and cautions were coming out and people were wrecking in front of me and I ended up in second before I knew it." Hardin, who won his 15th pole, had problems with his rear end halfway through the race and came in third. Hardin started fifth and got around Godsey in lap 79 for the lead. But Godsey took back the point in lap 87. "I can't complain about the race," Hardin said. "I dropped back to fifth at one point and came back to second and finished third." Willard Lawrence took home fourth. Lawrence started 10th and didn't crack the top five until lap 196 when Stachitas and Godsey got together. Lawrence then got around Southard for fifth in the last lap.
