As I sadly see the end of another racing season, I know that I have much to be thankful for concerning 2008.
First and foremost, we get racing back at the Rock. Has there ever been a better race track? I hope the folks of Richmond County embrace their new events and we see racing there for many years to come. 50 cars in the ARCA race should be awesome.
In addition,I look forward to meeting new fans at the local tracks, seeing who the "next big thing" is and picking the brains of our fellow track owners. Of course I'm also thankful that I can gloat about doing so well on picking the top finishers at the South Boston 300.
In closing, I wish all my comrades a happy holiday season and let's remember why we have the season. Keep checking out race22 to stay up to date on what's going on.
