Alex Yontz will run the ARCA 200 at Daytona and other ARCA events in the no.31 Chevy. Alex has been very fast in December testing. The car has RCR connections and is a threat to win at any track.
Part time Motor Mile racer Brian Frisselle will compete in the Rolex 24 hour sports car race at Daytona. According to an interview on Youtube, one of Brian's co-drivers will be a top Sprint Cup star. He is slated to run the entire 2008 Rolex schedule with the AIM no. 61 team.
2005 Weekly Series National Champion Peyton Sellers will have new backing from SkillsUSA and will run a touring series to be determined later depending on financial arrangements.
Matt Loftin, second place in Orange County Speedway points, is expected to campaign one of his father's cars in the NASCAR East Series.
Look for more announcements as the 2008 season approaches. As proven by Denny Hamlin's success in Cup, the late model stock car racing in our region is a great stepping stone to further a driver's career.
