The College Regional system works the same way that the WV Regionals system works. Teams run a qualifying race to make it to Nationals.
There are Regionals for D1 and D2, so the runners in the WVIAC run a Region race to qualify for D2 Nationals, while the Tennant (William and Mary), Levi (Richmond), Marshall will all be racing to qualify for D1 Nationals.
Of the teams that should make it I think WVU should get in, and maybe Schiffy of Marshall sneaking into an individual spot. You have to finish top 2 as a team to get the automatic team spot. they also take the top 4 individual runners from each region after taking out the runners who made it on a team.
Not sure if the WVIAC has any runners who could break out this year to make a run for D2 Nationals. It doesn't likely.
