The Morgantown effect is a negative attitude towards anyone who is not in Morgantown.
The Morgantown effect also leads to a sense of superiority for those in and around the Morgantown area.
Lastly, The Morgantown effect also causes people from the Morgantown area to post negative things on high school Messageboards.
