WRIB is inviting potential partners to participate in these dances so that we may learn more about other non-profit women's organizations, share ideas and lend support to the women's community at large. A partner will receive a portion of the proceeds based on the number of volunteer hours that their members provide at each dance. It's a great networking opportunity as WRIB and partners will each have a table at the door so that members and non-members alike of both organizations can exchange information!

Toronto Dyke March
The Dyke March is a grassroots event where women and trans people in LGBTTIQQ2S communities take over the streets of Toronto. The Dyke March is not a parade - it is a political demonstration of critical mass; a moment seized to revel in the strength, diversity and passion of LGBTTIQQ2S women and trans folk. The theme for Pride Week 2007 is “Unstoppable!”. We encourage groups to work within this theme in order to express their values. Raise your voice! Join us on Saturday June 23rd at 2:00pm as we celebrate our diversity, our passion and our pride. The Dyke March 2007 starts at Church and Hayden Streets, moves north on Church to Bloor, west on Bloor to Yonge and then south on Yonge to Wood St. It then heads east along Wood back to Church Street. ALL VEHICLES, including motorcycles, disperse along Yonge Street, South of Wood Street. Vehicles are not permitted east on Wood Street or north of Carlton on Church Street. For more information visit the Dyke March website at http://www.pridetoronto.com/dyke
