It was discovered that Chris' grandmother has small cell lung cancer. They are unsure of what stage it is in, but this is a tough time for his family. Please keep him in your prayers.
Cancer affects us all one way or the other in our lives, and Chris never thought it would hit him so close to home and he is not sure how to deal with it, so please pray for strength for him, and for his grandmother to fight this horrible disease.
Someone wrote this to me in an email yesterday and I thought I would share it:
"We are all connected to someone with cancer.. are we all being tested? Why must so many suffer? Its not just the patient with the cancer that suffers. I think in most cases the family hurts more than the person with their life on the line. Its like most of the time those who have it come to terms with it and are ok with it, but for me, its killing me to know my loved one is dieing. And why? Why must we suffer so much?"
