What is this? It is a fundraiser taking place at the Rogersville City Park, Saturday July 19th. The money raised is split among the area pet rescues, shelters and sanctuaries to help them stay afloat with the ever rising cost of operating. There are activities for human and pet alike, young & old. Your pets are very welcome.
Last year the Model A/T club cruised in for a spell to show their support. If I was in better standing with OMR SCCA, I wanted to hold a road rally that began from the Chill Out so it would attract more people there but alas there will be no road rally.
You may ask why/how I am involved. My wife has owned and operated her own feline rehab for the last 11 years (Sherri's Kitty Rehab - www.hallhaven.org). Unfortunately the costs are demanding that she seek fundraising events such as this to stay operating.
