Over the next few days, I will be upgrading the chat application for all three of my chat web sites. To keep expenses down, I will be combining the chat applet to run on all three of my web sites at the same time, instead of having separate chats applications running on each site.
What does this mean? There are good and bad points to this. On the bright side, this will add more chatter’s to our Community. I will create permanent chat rooms on the chat server where people entering from a certain website, may chat in a chat room designed for that web site. In addition, you may create your own chat room at any time. For a small fee, you will be able to purchase your very own chat room and it will be added to the chat room listing permanently. You will have admin rights to your own chat room. You may kick and ban any offending person from your chat room at any time.
For safe chatting, I recommend that you chat in our main Lobby, which will be monitored by the Chat-Monitors. Your privately created chat room on the fly will not be monitored. Your purchased chat room will be yours to control, as you will be the admin and monitor for your purchased chat room. Chat-Monitors will not have admin control of a purchased chat room. If you need assistance, you may ask the Site- Administrator.
Cadbury and TheShadow will be the Chat-Monitors for the Main Lobby. I strongly recommend you chat in the Lobby. For any adult chatting, you may create a room on the fly for such chat. I may increase the Voice Chatting in the near future. I will be your Site-Administrator and will be visible to your chatters when I am online. The Chat-Monitors will have the choice to be visible or invisible so please follow the chat rules. I believe in having a little fun in chat, for this I advise you create your own room.
I strongly recommend you register your Username. I may turn on Automatic Registration for this purpose. A word about cloning. If your name is registered, people won’t be able to use your username. Avoid the letters i and L in your name if possible, and also Zero and O. I do not consider the following examples as cloning: Bobby, Bobby3 or Bobby_ or KristyNY or KristyFL these are all legal names to use. If you don’t like it, register it. Watch out for the (.) period such as, Alex and Alex. It’s very difficult to see.
We will have a few bugs in the beginning, but we will work them out.
