Bob Germain Sr. passed away Friday night in his sleep. A friend of the family says that Germain was not in bad health and this was a very sudden, unexpected loss. Memorial plans are tentative at this point, but a wake may be Monday night with the funeral on Tuesday morning. The Germain family is still finalizing the details. Between Germain Motor Company, Germain Racing, Germain Arena, Germain Amphitheatre and Germain Properties of Naples, the Germain family employs over 1200 people nationally and over 400 people in Florida.(WBBH-NBC2 News)(6-28-2008)
