Our man TED is NOT retiring. NOT BY FAR!!!
TED has a couple of BIG potential rides he's looking at for the 2009 season. He has been approached by several teams and is weighing the options.
Sponsorship is everything in this sport and getting the RIGHT and a GREAT sponsor like ASE was for TED, is a MUST. (ASE will be missed as they are exiting sponsorship at the end of this season.)
With talking about the 2009 season, doesn't mean that TED won't jump in a ride yet this season to have alittle fun. HE JUST MIGHT!
Right now, TED is both happy and relieved to be spending time with and enjoying his family by doing extra things he loves to do. Working in his shop on his car collection and on the families land where they will have their future new home. There he also spends time with his son Justin who also loves to work in the shop and tinker about with various projects.
TED has been attending many of Brittany's horse shows and doing father/daughter things together with her. Brittany has a busy schedule traveling about to horse shows. She is at Lexington, VA this week. She sold her horse "Zipper" after the World Show and now has a new horse she is receiving very high marks with. YOU GO GIRL!
Teddy Jr. and his wife Natasha just returned from the midwest and my home state of WI after racing some of the dirt tracks around that area with some of Natashas family. Teddy is having fun and doing quite well in the dirt track series. Just today he picks up his new dirt track car that I'm sure father TED will lend a helping hand with. Glad to hear they are doing so well.
And last, but certainly not least, Debi says she is doing great and has gotten a clean bill of health earlier this year from her doctors. (THANK GOD!) She now has been accomplishing many projects of her own and she sounds great!
So, now you have the scoop thus far with our man TED & family. We wish TED all the best "AS ALWAYS" and we eagerly await the news of his return to the truck series.
