Gearing up for the New Jersey ARCA 150 in about four weeks on Sept. 13,'09, Patrick Sheltra, the two-time ARCA RE/MAX Series Hard Charger award recipient says this about TED after testing at New Jersey August 4,'09.
“I cannot tell you how much of an asset Ted has been for our organization. He is leading me in the right direction. He was unable to attend the test but he’s no slouch when it comes to road course racing, so I feel with his guidance and coaching for race weekend, we might have that extra step on the rest of the competition.”
TED will be on hand to assist Sheltra for that race and the next race on the schedule August 23 at Illinois State Fairgrounds for the Allen Crowe 100.
Sheltra says he'll be back for revenge if you will and he can't wait because last year the rain came and the race was cancelled leaving Sheltra to go home with an 11th place finish with a car he felt was a top ten. He will return with that same car and much more knowledge then with his first road course experiance.
