TN Curve –currently a 14U organization based out of Brentwood/Franklin/Mid-Tenn, is forming a 10U team to start this fall and begin in the spring as 11U team. TN Curve has formed with the philosophy of practicing and instructing more than playing games/tournaments. Most teams, travel or rec, play much more than they practice which leaves little to no time to teach. Players do not develop properly under this model and Curve coaches are seeking to break that mold.
We currently have 6 solid kids committed and are seeking about 5 to 6 more. Players need to be serious, committed, and motivated players with good attitudes and a solid baseball foundation from which to grow. Our practices are fast paced and intense and the boys have a blast and learn a ton. Our goal is player development. We hope to prepare boys to play in high school and beyond.
This fall we plan to play in and around Mid Tenn. In the spring we will do the same and add two to four local tournaments. Again, our goal is to have at least 2-3 practices a week and 1, maybe 2 games (or 1 tournament) a week.
