Fished Fayette County on Wednesday from 8:00-2:00 and enjoyed a great day. Caught 39 fish up to 5.3#s. Lots of small (13-16") fish and a dozen 3-4#ers. Clear skies and wind blew about 10 mph most of the time we were there. Caught a few fish on crankbait, but best and most consistent bite came with C-rig worms around drains/humps with deep water around them. Fish were stacked on the hump off of Buzzard Point. Top of hump was about 10' and dropped off to about 22'. They really seemed to come in from the deeper water and feed and then retreat back. Best bite came on Zoom centipedes, Kicker Fish finesse baits and Grande Bass worms in green based colors. Experiment with the length of your leader.
Good luck. Skeeter John
