Well, Don and I came in second in the big finale. With a great turnout of 25 boats, we took home a nice check. Caught four fish all day, and Don caught 'em all! He is a joy to watch on that drop shot rig. It was a real tough bite, and Don capitalized with the Rattlesnake as we fished bluff walls.
We had two really good areas, where we knew fish were at and just waited them out. The last bite came with literally about 15 minutes to go- and it weighed in at just over 7 pounds. Don and I both lost the fish that would have put us in first, but that is fishing for you.
Hat's off to Charlie, EA, Rude, and the whole ABF crew for a well run tourney this year. We're looking forward to cranking it back up next season!
