My answers to the controversial questions:
1.) Bedding Fish - Being a tournament fisherman I usually do not sight fish unless there is just a monster sitting there waiting for me. I choose not to sight fish not because I think it is wrong but because it can be very frustrating. I choose to fish a pre/post spawn patterns (in my opinion a more reliable pattern) but I'm sure I catch some off beds that I cant even see. They may be spawning in 10+ ft of water??? Now if I was Preston Clark and had the patience for it I would be doing it.
2.)Draw down on LA - I havent fished the draw down on LA
, again not because I think it is wrong but because I'm forcing myself to catch dinks on LT to get ready for the tournaments coming up. Unfair advantage? Not really, you still have to catch them. I've fished LT and Amistad really low and I couldnt get them to eat??? I think w/ the low water conditions it makes the bass pull out and suspend which in my opinion is the hardest bass to catch.
Well enough fence riding for me, back to thinking about dinks on LT
