Booker and I teamed up for the Bass Champs tourney on LT. We had a plan to swing for the fences and throw 3/4 ounce jigs tipped w/ the Grande Bass Mutants on offshore ledges (25-50ft). In practice we had done well and had several nice fish that were rather plump (full of eggs). The fish were crushing the jig so we knew they were catchable fish. We stuck to the plan all day hoping for the big bite but it just didnt pan out. We did catch a limit and had a decent points day so all was not lost. On to Buchanan for the FOM tourney, this one should be good!!!
