PAA Corporate Cup presented by OPTIMA Batteries Team Roster and Schedule of Events
(Oct. 08, 2008 - Benton, KY.)... The PAA Corporate Cup presented by OPTIMA Batteries’ venue at Florence, Alabama’s McFarland Park is shaping up, as anglers are practicing and vendors are busily preparing for the PAA’s showcase event. The PAA Corporate Cup presented by OPTIMA Batteries pairs PAA Tour Level members with corporate partners in a high stakes pro-am styled tournament.
The first event of its kind, The Corporate Cup has drawn the attention of both anglers and industry as it allows the pros to interact with sponsors in a competitive setting. The Corporate Cup will feature a field of 42 four angler teams competing for a top prize of $100,000 on Alabama’s famed Pickwick Lake.
The 84 boats; piloted by some of the best anglers in the world, will blastoff at 9:00 AM on October 9th and 10th from McFarland Park and will return in two flights for weigh-in starting at 4:45 PM. After Friday’s weigh-in, the field will be cut to 12 teams for the final day, where the 24 boats will compete for their share of a $210,000 purse.
The PAA Corporate Cup presented by OPTIMA Batteries will feature vendor booth displays, a Kid’s Zone fun area, and the premier anglers in the sport of professional bass fishing on hand to sign autographs and interact with fans.
