I dont usually post on this thing and take alot of it with a grain of salt and the rest of pretty damn hilarious and entertaining, but when it comes time to defend my team and teammates, I step up.
first off all i can say is WOW!!! you seem to be quite the statistics complier there looking at all the numbers and roster tracking you've done on here......and I guess you play all your games out on paper. If you notice, softball is a very funny game and anyone can be beat on any given day and any team can string together a good weekend together in a hurry and then not have a winning weekend the next. If you are THAT worried about who is who and who has done what in the past , you are already beat mentally....so your opponent only has to do half the work in beating you physically on the field.
Like it was said above, softball is not the ruling factor in our lives....we come out to play and have stayed together for the years we have because we enjoy playing the game as teammates and as friends that we have become and I think we are proof that that is the a major key in being successful cause we keep our core together and we know how to make the adjustments to help each other out on the field to pick up one guy when he is down to keep on being very competitive.
As far as the classifications, we have always played where we have been asked too....and where we were put.....and we go out and play the games. I hardly think we are the Yankees of the "e" program.....esp going 3 and 2 in a 208 team tourney at worlds. Since you like stats so much...why don't you look at the run averages in worlds....10 runs a game for vs. 9.6 runs against...with a max of 16 runs being the most in one game..........if that makes us a D team, what is your averages for an "e" team 5 runs a game???
I guess it is really true....when you are on top for one or two weekends, everyone piles on you until someone takes your place after the next week's tourney...so all other teams be forewarned.....winning one tourney a year makes you an automatic move up and if you don't, guys like this will put a big bullseye on you.....unless of course it is them that takes the top spot.
