I didn't know you had it in you. Almost got me all teary eyed but you hit the nail on the head. I've played for Noodle the last 8-9 years and there are some that have been on this team for close to 20. Some quit and we fill in with people we like. We don't hold it against anyone or try to replace people b/c they choose to do something else on the weekend other then play ball.
It just happens that along with the yellow jersey for striking out, the dollar game we play on the field and all the other fun we have we can be pretty good sometimes, bad at others.
If Milton puts us in D for the rest of the year that's what we will play. We have done it before and will continue to do so. We won't change our name or break up a team to stay down. We only change our name to support our sponsor.
To the rest of my team, we had a great weekend and I look forward to having fun again in two weeks.
