Changing food,that kirkland lamb and rice is not gonna cut it just not enough for a dog that is exercised the way V is exercised.try looking for something with 18% fat or a little more.Check the link i posted to health extension something along these lines is what you should be looking for.both the kibble and the can food real meat toppers.Another good Kibble for V would be Taste of the Wild.you get what you pay for.
